Father McCoy

This song is bound to offend a few folks. Sorry about that. Sadly, the issue continues to vex the faithful as well as those who have rejected the church. My first set of lyrics were even less restrained.

LYRICS

Talk to your sons, warn all your daughters
danger is lurking everywhere
please be alerted
someone perverted
just might catch you unaware that lustful chap who does these things nightmarish
You'll find him every Sunday with his parish
It's who's your Daddy Father McCoy, oh boy, it's who's your Daddy Father McCoy.

On Sunday after mass
he'll make another pass
he's after the church secretary
it wouldn't be a shock
to learn that in his flock
the only virgin is Mary
It's who's your Daddy Father McCoy, oh boy, it's who's your Daddy Father McCoy.

He met a nun and he had his fun
now he was no longer celibate
he had to lay off, he had to pay off
when she began to swell a bit
He offered her a post down at the mission
another missionary position
It's who's your Daddy Father McCoy, oh boy, it's who's your Daddy Father McCoy.

He tries to be devout
he worries they'll find out
he thinks about his duty to the savior
but soon he is enticed
to say to hell with Christ
and hope for just ten years with good behavior

It’s your Daddy, who's your daddy, who's your daddy, who's your daddy
who's your Daddy Father McCoy
When someone lights his candle, it's more than he can handle, ask any alter boy
It's who's your Daddy Father McCoy, oh boy, it's who's your Daddy Father McCoy.
